WHY DO WE DO WHAT WE DO?

We love the sport and we love bowls clubs. We have realised that many clubs don’t know how to properly clean their synthetic greens and it has been overlooked. Over time many clubs think they have no other option than to replace them and we want to see clubs not only survive but prosper.

We also realise for some smaller clubs the cost of immaturely replacing a green can make or break that club. Many clubs rely on local councils and governments to fund it.

With good maintenance they get more time to fundraise and be ready when that day comes.

In addition most volunteers don’t get proper training on how care for greens or the handling of chemicals used to clean and treat them. Any information they do have often gets lost over time or through handovers.

Large clubs are likely to have traditional and professional green keepers whose craft is natural grass not synthetic surfaces.

THE PROCESS

Most clubs, sweep, poison, water greens if they have a sprinkler system and possibly roll them.

A sweep, poison and a shampoo will not fully combat dirt from traffic, dust, wear and tear, accidental spillages, bird droppings, insects and dead bugs or other dirt being walked into the fibre.
Outdoor facilities are even more exposed to just the natural accumulation of excess dirt.

We have a seven stage process that takes days not hours to bring your synthetic surface to its best state and help protect it going forward.

You will be provided with a report on completion and suggested ongoing maintenance.

MAINTENANCE

Your club has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars on your synthetic surface. Wouldn’t it make sense to have a professional service to maintain it and help preserve it well beyond it’s suggested lifespan?

Larger clubs understand the value of maintenance and investing their money elsewhere is good business. Many smaller clubs don’t realise they can invest and grow their money if not facing massive replacement costs.

We can clean and maintain your greens for you so you can concentrate on more pressing matters around your club.

Holes, splits and runs. We can also do minor repairs however with runs will not guarantee we can fix them as often it is related to your base and what is under your surface. Some can be runs can be removed or reduced through a proper maintenance program.

Our Story

We are two passionate bowlers who are part of a small club that had resigned to replacing a green well before its guaranteed life span.

Our green had drainage issues and was full of black and red mould, it was dirty from general use, and being outdoors excessive spoilage from birds and bugs. Despite a regular maintenance schedule run by volunteers it had been given up on and our club was going to have to borrow and extra $200,000 above what we had saved. Our money is now in the bank earning our club interest.

We went to great lengths to research, test and trial different methods to clean and restore our bowling green to as close as possible to its original condition.

Our mottos is ’ we treat your green as if it was ours’ and will travel anywhere in Australia to save a club from prematurely replacing their green and wasting money.
